Hello! I’m Simran Pattar also known as 'PATTARGRAPHY', based in the Bay Area, California. I’m a photographer, videographer, and visual effects compositor with a BFA in 3D Animation and Visual Effects from Academy of Art University (Class of 2022). While my focus is on documentary style photography and videography, I’m passionate about continually honing my skills in After Effects, Nuke, and ShotGrid to stay at the forefront of my craft.

From a young age, I was always captivated by the power of images to tell stories. Growing up, I spent hours taking pictures, experimenting with angles, lighting, and capturing the world around me. My passion for photography naturally evolved into videography as I sought new ways to bring those stories to life through motion. I became deeply interested in the editing process, learning how to enhance and shape my image and footage into a compelling narrative. Over the years, what started as a hobby became a lifelong dedication to capturing the beauty, emotion, and essence of every moment. Photography, videography, and editing have always been more than just hobbies—they’ve been my way of seeing and understanding the world as my clients see my vision through my eyes and quite literally the lense.

As a VFX Compositor, I bring a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail to every project, striving to deliver the highest quality in everything I do. My passion for creativity is matched by my dedication and organizational skills, allowing me to collaborate effectively with others. While I’m aware of my areas for growth, I’m committed to improving and evolving both professionally and personally. I pride myself on being productive, efficient, reliable, and hardworking. With experience at Studio X and Future House Studios, I’m confident that my compositing expertise, collaborative mindset, and solid educational and professional background make me a valuable asset to any top-tier studio.
